Parallel Panel and System Panel

Operating panels are included with generator sets and interface with functions. This allows for the engine and generator to be controlled by a single component. Operator panels provide the user with easy to view and use of information, generator set controls, alarm and monitoring.

Function

1. Generator control

* Engine control – Oil, Cooling water, Storage Battery
* Current control – Over/low voltage control, Over/low current control
* KW, KVAR setting

2. Operating time control

* Blackout delay time / Startup time, VCB put time / Cool and heat time /
* VCB off time / Alarm delay time / Engine cooling time

3. Generator status check

* Engine status – Oil pressure, Cooling water temperature Engine speed, Operating time
* Electricity Status – V. A. KW, PF, HZ, KWH, KVAR, KVARH

4. Warning signal

* Alarm – Setting for engine and generator status(Cooling water, Oil)
* Fault Info – Setting for engine and generator status(Cooling water, Oil, shutdown)

5. Parallel operation

* Check for Bus voltage and frequency
* Automatic adjustment of generator voltage and frequency based on Bus status
* Parallel test for no load
* Load adjustment function
* Load/unload function

6. Remote control

* MODBUS RTU on serial port RS 485
* Transmission speed 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400
* Check for engine and power
* Emergency stop

Components

● Generator set comprised of engine, generator and house operator panel
● Operator panel communicates with automatic transfer switch. Control starts, run and monitoring activities for engine and generator
● Automatic transfer switch monitors power at switch panel. When a significant drop or loss of power occurs, switch signals generator set operator panel to start engine
● Switch panels distribute power to various circuits
